Behind Vellamon Retket is a woman who enjoys nature and fishing. By profession, I am a nurse. Due to my work, I'm familiar with the pressures of daily life, the challenges of maintaining balance, and the feeling of being less present. That's why fishing and nature are essential to me as a counterbalance to everyday life. I inherited the secrets of fly fishing from my father. Of course, decades of self-study and advice from my brothers have also contributed to my love for this hobby.

The purpose of my business is to design a personalized experience tailored specifically to each client.

The goal of Vellamon Retket is to create an individualised nature experience for travellers while respecting the nature of Kuhmo. The vision of Vellamon Retket is to increase sustainable tourism in Kuhmo and its natural surroundings. Additionally, teaching respect for nature, fishing, and mindfulness are part of Vellamon's vision. I currently cooperate a lot with Lentiira Wilderness Oy.
