Lower river section
The lower section of River Kokemäenjoki with its delta area is famous for big zander. The area also offers good catches of species such as perch and pike. Popular forms of fishing include trolling and jigging. Some record zanders have been caught from Kokemäenjoki’s delta.

Fishing the middle and upper river sections
In the section of River Kokemäenjoki lying between the Harjavalta and Kolsi power plants, anglers opt for trolling, spinning, jigging and ice-fishing lures, baited hooks, and hooks and lines.
