The waters of Niemisjärvi consist of three conjoined lakes with a total surface area of around 30 hectares. This destination is ideal for families because of its accessible location and shores that are easy to traverse. A car takes you right to the lake. There is an extensive network of trails circling the lake and duckboards have been laid out across the more challenging terrain.
The fishing season at Niemisjärvi begins in May right after the ice has receded. The typical target fish is rainbow trout, but there are also whitefish, perch and pike.
