Fishing waters are exceptionally warm – zander fishing time is already here

Days of May and early June have been extremely warm in Finland considering the time of the year. All time temperature records of May have broken in several places. In many lakes surface water temperatures are now about 20 degrees; that is 5–8 degrees over the average.

Zander has already spawn in many waters in Southern Finland. Zander – which is the favourite fish species of many anglers – starts to bite the wobblers and softbaits. At the moment there are really good zander stocks on many lakes of Finland.
